Our 3-day live training transforms a group of students into a close-knit and driven team of leaders tackling their school's biggest challenges from a design thinking framework.
End Goal: Students clearly articulating to district administrators a
challenge their district is facing, their vision of success, and how they plan to implement the change they wish to see.
Day 1:Develop Culture
Through workshops, keynotes, innovation stations, escape experiences, brainstorms, and pitches, we teach students to get outside of their comfort zone while learning project management, effective communication, problem-solving, and much more.
Day 2:Empower Leaders
Calling students to a higher standard of active engagement in their education, we facilitate a district panel for students and administrators to discuss a perfect educational environment and why they're not there yet.
Day 3:Take Action
Student teams create and pitch, then implement through the year, projects addressing their school's biggest challenges. From bullying to funding to technology integration, students are leading the change they want to see.

My overall impression is that students left the 3-day training knowing they could affect change in their education. Students felt empowered to become leaders in their schools, and their confidence level was vastly improved. The SLED trainers do a magnificent job! We had one male student say that he felt a sense of belonging and that he now has a confidence level that he had never had before. Amazing!
